Science with a W (for women)

In 2008 Christiane Nüsslein-Volhard wrote an interesting letter about the women in science.  She expresses her thoughts about the passion for science in particular for the female gender, as well as some personality features in women that persues this task (doi:10.1016/j.cub.2008.01.052 ).
